Bargello quilts are made using special strip piecing and cutting techniques. All those rectangles are not cut individually and sewn together! It's easier than you think. Any combination of fabric and color you want to use is available at your local quilt shop! The layout for Bargello Twist gives depth and movement to this quilt, as the design twists and turns across the quilt, like ribbons blowing in the wind.
It can be made wider and longer by simply duplicating the sets of strips until you have the size you want.
