     Over the last five years of designing an applique block of the month, almost every month, I have had requests from quilters for blocks that they had missed.  I have told each of them that I was working on compiling them onto CDs.  At last the first two volumes are done and available.  Volume 3 is in the process and should be available in a few months, if all goes well.  Volume Two includes three blocks that never made it to the website.  2005 was a very busy year!

     The two CDs contain the first four years worth of the free Block of the Month applique blocks that have been on my website.  Each CD has 24 blocks, and a sampler quilt using 12 different blocks with a center wreath as shown in the illustrations.  Also included is another quilt with a repeated applique block alongside pieced blocks, with all the directions needed to make both quilts.  The applique instructions that are available on the website are also included on each CD, in full color and photographs illustrating some of the techniques.

     All of the blocks have been remastered, so they print out in clear definition.  You now have, at your fingertips any block that you wish to print out with minimal storage space.  All of the blocks, quilts and instructions are formatted as PDF files which can be opened and printed using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded from the Adobe website.  No other program is needed!  You don't have to be online, all you need is your browser, Adobe Acrobat and printer, for printing out whatever you want to use.
